The Polarflex mount A2P CCM offers an elegant solution to realize the Polarflex technique. It uses the two standard CCM microphones CCM 2 (_/S/H) and CCM 8.
Apart from the A2P CCM it is possible to experiment with the Polarflex technique using microphones of the SCHOEPS Colette series.
The output signals of the A2P CCM are processed by the Polarflex Plug-in.
suitable suspension for Polarflex
Based on the SCHOEPS Polarflex technique that was presented for the first time in 1998
A Polarflex reference setup consists of the microphones CCM 2, CCM 8 and the Polarflex Plug-in

Schoeps AK DMS/3U Adapter CableAdapter cable used with the Schoeps "Surround Sets" for the Double M/S system.A single, seven-conductor shielded cable with an XLR-7M output connector carries the signals from all three microphones (front mid, figure-8 and rear mid); the AK DMS 3U then splits the three signals out again. For surround recordings with up to six channels (e.g. 5.1 surround) we offer the K Surround x M cable with multi-pin connectors at both ends (with the "x" corresponding to the length of the cable in meters).
The AK Surround M/4U adapter cable splits this multicore cable to four XLR-3 connectors.
It is also available in a five-channel version, called AK Surround M/5U.
For six channels the Splitterbox M/6U can be used.
It is also available with connector for the heating (AK Surround H M/4U).

Schoeps AMS 22The base of the AMS 22 has a 5/8"-27 NS internal thread. A threaded adapter is supplied for 3/8" and 1/2" mounting. For two standard microphones of the Colette modular system (e.g. CMC, 20mm diameter)Color: gray / matte gray
SIMPLE CAPSULE GUARD FOR 20 MM
The B 1 is a thin foam screen.
It is especially suitable for protecting a capsule from rosin dust when attached to a string instrument (e.g. with the VA 1 violin mount) and as a hygiene protection.
thin protection against rosin dust
is not an efficient pop filter
HOLLOW FOAM POPSCREEN FOR 20 MM
The B 1 D is an elaborately constructed, highly efficient pop shield with a closed metal gauze construction.
As with the B 5 D and the windscreen baskets, the sound openings of the microphone are enclosed by an air volume. Compatible with all axially addressed microphones from SCHOEPS.
highly effective hollow foam popscreen
elaborate construction creates entrapped air volume and thus high air noise attenuation
achieves high attenuation of plosive sounds from 0°
Like B 20, but with two layers of nylon fabric. Therefore even more effective than the B 20, but stronger tonal discoloration.
small close-up speech shield and windscreen
consists of a closed plastic basket covered with a washable nylon fabric
problem-solver because it reliably prevents pop and wind noise
compatible with all axially addressed microphones from SCHOEPS
The B 5 D is the classic and most popular pop shield from SCHOEPS. It is used in close-up speech, but also as a shield against mild wind or moving noise on the boom. It delivers good effectiveness with the lowest possible sound influence.
It is made of foam, but is hollow inside, and thus encloses an air volume around the microphone capsule like a windscreen basket. The foam of the B 5 D is mounted on a plastic carrier that sits firmly on the microphone. The foam thus does not touch the microphone, which reliably prevents any motion noise. The microphone should be pushed as far as possible into the B 5 D. Compatible with all axially addressed microphones from SCHOEPS.
classic hollow foam windscreen
standard for many applications
recommended for conference, against wind and against the moving noise on the boom
ADAPTER FOR BRASS INSTRUMENTS
Instrument adapter for brass instruments with a bell such as saxophone, trumpet, trombone

recommended MK capsule types: supercardioid MK 41 for Live or cardioid MK 4 (optional 22/21) for studio
Schoeps BF250 Heavy Floor StandThe BF 250 is supplied with a special chuck, type SPV 12-3/8, to create a quick connect and disconnect system for an STR vertical support rod. This can simply be plugged into the chuck and tightened by hand with a half turn of the milled cap nut.The chuck SPV 12-3/8 is also available separately for the purpose of updating older equipment. It can be screwed on with a open-ended wrench.Diameter 250 mmHeight without quick release twist-lock chuck: 38 mmsuitable for 12 mm vertical support rods, e.g. STR 350gSurface finish black For more information, please visit this products webpage
hemispherical pickup pattern
for building in to the surface of a table or lectern
unobtrusive
avoids comb filter effect
This special version of the CCM 2XS L compact microphone is equipped with a flange enabling it to be built into the surface of a table or speaker's rostrum. This makes the microphone nearly invisible, and at the same time improves the sound quality by eliminating comb filter effects.
The BL CCM 3 is often used as a redundancy microphone in speaker tables.
MOUNTING PLATE FOR DIRECTIONAL BOUNDARY-LAYER TECHNIQUE
Turns any directional CCM Microphone or MK capsule with Active Cable KC into a boundary-layer (PZM) microphone. This is especially useful when recording moving singers/ actors on a stage, or when a microphone on a stand would be obtrusive.
The boundary layer effect creates a 3 dB increase of the Direct-to-Room ratio. Thus, an increase of the recording distance is possible without negative effects.
A rubber ring built into the bottom of the plate prevents inadvertent rotation of the plate and damage to the surface on which it is placed.
for directional boundary-layer recording with cardioid and supercardioid microphones
for use with CCM/MK 4 or 41
often used at the stage edge in opera live recording
achieves +3 dB direct sound due to the boundary layer effect - without comb filter effects

EIGENSCHAFTEN
Kugelcharakteristik
konstanter Frequenzgang
freifeldentzerrt
für den Einsatz nahe der Schallquelle (Schalleinfall von vorne)
bevorzugter Einsatz: Aufnahme von Instrumenten, Sängern etc. aus geringem Abstand
Omnidirectional
linear frequency response
corrected for the direct sound field
for use close to the sound source (frontal sound incidence)
preferred applications: close pickup of singers and instruments
As can be seen from the frequency response curve, this microphone type has flat frequency response for frontal sound incidence. This yields a very natural quality when picking up sound that is predominantly direct, i.e. close to the source or in a ”dry” acoustic.
The CCM 2 is meant to be placed in close proximity to the sound source. The sonic impression never becomes overly brilliant or harsh. Please note that there is some directivity at high frequencies due to the physics of sound. Thus even with an omnidirectional microphone, it still matters which way the capsule is “aimed.”
EIGENSCHAFTEN
Breite Niere mit geringer Frequenzabhängigkeit der Richtwirkung
angenehmes, oft als “warm” beschriebenes Klangbild
bevorzugter Einsatz: als Stütz- und Stereohauptmikrofon
